A little trip away from the Bundesstraße B 102 between Jüterbog and Dahme leads to the little baroque palace Wiepersdorf with its generous park and orangery. The former estate was built from 1731 - 38. The poet couple Bettina and Achim von Arnim settled here in the year 1814. The family von Arnim was in possession of the estate until the end of the 2nd World War. The gravesite of the family von Arnim can be found at the small palace graveyard next to the church.

The palace houses the foundation and Künstlerhaus Schloss Wiepersdorf since 1992. All year round artists present themselves with exhibitions as well as literary and musical events.
