The church in Körbitz

Körbitz is situated in the community Niederer Fläming. The village is a typical road village imbedded in fields. It was first mentioned in 1186.

1815 wurde Körbitz became Prussian in 1815. Along the road nearly uninterrupted are preserved Vierseithöfe. A densely planted lime path leads to the church. The church is a square stone building with apse from the 13th century.

The square tower was added later. The belfry from the 16th/17th century is made of brick.
Everybody should take time for trip to the lovely village. Especially distinctive are among other things is the hill area at the wind energy plant, which is along the distance between Körbitz and Langenlipsdorf.
